2010 Build Sponsors

Major Sponsors ($50,000+)

	The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership programs help IVHFH purchase land to assist in the City of Iowa City's effort of building viable communities with decent housing for lower income persons. These grants are supporting the Tippie Build 2010, Thrivent Builds, Room for All Build in 2010.

	Through the Thrivent Builds program, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is donating over $70,000 to fund the 2010 Thrivent Builds. Local Lutherans and Thrivent members are also chipping in with volunteer support.
	The UI Tippie College of Business sponsored the Tippie Build 2010, their 3rd home with IVHFH. The TIppie Build committee, along with support from Tippie student organizations, staff, and faculty, raised $50,000 and provided the majority of the volunteer labor.
	Through the the 2010 Whirlpool® Building Blocks program, Whirlpool employees from Amana are coming together to help build a home. Whirlpool Corporation is also donating $50,000 to provide a full house sponsorship for the build.

Co-Sponsors ($5,000+)

	Geico supported the Tippie Build 2010 by providing a $5,000 donation through the GEICO Philanthropic Foundation.
	St. Andrew Presbyterian served as a Co-Sponsor of the Room for All Build, providing volunteer support and a donation of $7,500.
	State Farm Insurance donated $5,000 toward the Tippie Build 2010 through a Youth United matching grant via the State Farm Foundation.
	Waterfront Hy-Vee is co-sponsoring the Room for All Build by providing volunteer support, in-store promotion, and a donation of $6,000.
	Wells Fargo supported the Tippie Build 2010 by providing volunteer support along with a $10,000 donation through the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation's Team Member Volunteer Program.
