Donate To ReStore

By donating your materials and furnishings to the Habitat ReStore you are helping the environment by conserving much-needed space in the landfill. Whether you are rebuilding, remodeling or renovating, we can help you save time, money AND get a clean start on your project. Before you start tearing out existing fixtures or tossing out left over materials, think of what can be salvaged and call us—we’ll walk you through the process and help you save those items from the dump.

Donate Building/Housing Materials

Habitat ReStore accepts both new and used building/housing materials that are in good, useable condition. If it's in good enough condition to give to a friend or relative, or it's something your contractor would reuse, it's probably good enough to donate.

How to Donate Materials

You can call to schedule a drop off for donations at the store any time during our receiving hours, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Due to our site construction and limited parking we have asked for donors to call in advance to make sure we will have staff here to accommodate donors.  Please be aware that materials are accepted at staff discretion. Please call and talk with staff if you have further questions about whether we accept specific items.

Self-delivery is encouraged, however Habitat ReStore also offers a collection service for larger, pre-approved loads that typically fall during weekday evenings and Saturdays. At this time we are asking for a $10 pickup donation to help us cover gas expense. We are generally scheduled up to two weeks in advance. As an additional benefit to our donors, all donations are tax deductible.
