Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity offers monthly classes to assist each Partner Family in taking the leap from renting to owning. We work with highly-skilled and knowledgeable individuals to teach and assist our families. Partner Families receive Sweat Equity credit for attending these classes, thereby offering them even more incentive to become familiar with important homeownership topics:

• Understanding insurance and taxes.
• Home maintenance.
• Mortgage finance and credit.
• Personal finance and budgeting.
• Contracts.
