Join us for a casual evening of food, fun, and laughs at the 2nd Annual Hammers & Hardhats Bash to raise money for our 3rd Women Build, The Dottie Ray Build: A tribute to women in our community. This year, our goal is to raise over $22,000 to help local women from our community come together to build the 2011 Habitat for Humanity Women Build, and we hope you'll help us in reaching that goal by attending the event!

♦ Mr. IVHFH & Ms. IVHFH Competition

Watch as local personalities "compete" in a silly, tongue-in-cheek competition to be crowned Mr. IVHFH & Ms. Iowa Valley Habitat!

  • Ms. IVHFH contestants will include: Lynette Marshall, UI Foundation and 2009 Ms. IVHFH; Sue Evans, MidWestOne Bank; Jen Jordan, City of Iowa City; Laura O'Connor, Oaknoll Retirement Residence;
  • Mr. IVHFH contestants will include: Jeffery Ford, past Habitat for Humanity executive director and serving as proxy for Bill Windauer, 2009 Mr. IVHFH; Tom Brands, UI Wrestling; Eric Hanson, Iowa City Area Development; John Bacon, City High School
